U.P. -- Universalis Poet-Tree
A candid documentary project produced in Awesmic City (Austin, TX) beginning last year precisely on 12.12.12 with our first event called Awesmic City Austin Texas Day 12.12.12 commemorated with a Proclamation from the City of Austin. This all day celebration happened at Zilker Park Rock Gardens of Austin.
An array of poets, musicians and art along with a reading of the Awesmic City Austin Texas Anthology 12.12.12 of local, international and national poetry. We, at Awesmic City Austin Texas, LLC expanded this production and project to include the AUSTIN INTERNATIONAL POETRY FESTIVAL 2012, 20th Anniversary performances at Austin, TX venues and also documented the Di-Verse City 2012 Anthology reading at Huston Tillston.
There were so many talented poets that the documentary is being shown in episodes that include samples of local, state, national, and international poets sharing their poetry and special music.

We like to contribute to the Noosphere in a constructive way for a thriving experience of life.

Awesmic City Austin Austin Texas TV Episode 14 is of the Universalis Poet-Tree documentary project that began 2012. This episode features a workshop presented by Dr. Charles Taylor, Ph.D. and excerpts of the Creating Nature Poetry AIPF 2012, Austin International Poetry Festival Workshop. Poets learn techniques from Dr. Taylor as he gives an example of his own poetry. Participants do writing exercises and also perform material they composed during the workshop.

This show features a cultural arts and community event in Dripping Springs Texas with original poetry and music performed in the Gateway to the Heart Sanctuary Dome in Dripping Springs, Texas.
We call this community event -- "Awesmic City Cafe" -- although it is not a real cafe, we have a potluck dinner and share poetry and music sometimes when weather permits "under the stars." It's a conceptual title.
We are working on having a real Awesmic City Cafe in the future like an original coffee house experienced in the 60's & 70's with telephone wire spool top tables and candles in the middle, and ambiance acoustical music and poetry.
Even with the freezing weather in the month of January, the poets and musicians turned out for this event and the room ambiance of the out door domed building amplified the voices just perfectly! One might hear the fans from the electric heaters happily purring once in a while in the background. We bundled up for a couple of hours to weather the weather with poetry and tunes.

This show features a cultural arts and community event in Dripping Springs Texas with original poetry and music performed in the Gateway to the Heart Sanctuary Dome in Dripping Springs, Texas.
We call this community event -- "Awesmic City Cafe" -- although it is not a real cafe, we have a potluck dinner and share poetry and music sometimes when weather permits "under the stars." It's a conceptual title.
We are working on having a real Awesmic City Cafe in the future like an original coffee house experienced in the 60's & 70's with telephone wire spool top tables and candles in the middle, and ambiance acoustical music and poetry.
Even with the freezing weather in the month of January, the poets and musicians turned out for this event and the room ambiance of the out door domed building amplified the voices just perfectly! One might hear the fans from the electric heaters happily purring once in a while in the background. We bundled up for a couple of hours to weather the weather with poetry and tunes.
